Last weekend, I was traveling to Vijayawada from Chennai to attend one of my friends wedding. It was a long 6 hours journey in train. But luckily my journey was never boring as I happen to meet a traveler in the same compartment who was also heading towards Andhra Pradesh. We were discussing about all affairs, including Indian politics, Sports, World News, etc.
One of the important topics the traveler discussed with me was about the increasing costs of medical care treatment in India and around the western countries especially in North America. The reason why he hinted North America was while when his parents were visiting USA, fell ill due to bird flu and got hospitalized. Since they were not insured, the medical bills were very high and it created lot of stress and financial distress to his family. After this horrible experience, he said he had realized the importance and the need for buying Visitor Health Insurance in USA as every common man visiting USA from India or from any other foreign nation cannot afford to pay expensive medical bills.
He then advised me if any of my family members are visiting USA, need to buy a good and a reliable visitor medical insurance plan like Atlas America Insurance or Patriot America Insurance before traveling to United States and should not wait until you or a family member becomes seriously ill.
